Get Involved

Help move the proposal from framework to practice.

ALPRP is building relationships with people and organizations that can test assumptions, strengthen safeguards, evaluate costs, and help Alabama create a safer and more effective correctional system.

Ways to Contribute

Expertise, experience, and accountability all matter.

You do not need to agree with every part of ALPRP to contribute. Serious questions, evidence-based criticism, operational experience, and constructive alternatives can make the proposal stronger.

Research & Policy

Review official data, legislation, correctional research, cost assumptions, implementation plans, and performance measures.

Corrections & Reentry

Bring practical knowledge of facility operations, supervision, behavioral health, parole, education, employment, and reentry.

Victims, Families & Staff

Help ensure that reform supports healing, safety, healthy family connection, correctional employees, and meaningful accountability.

Technology & Accessibility

Test the ALPRP prototypes, immersive experience, privacy protections, usability, accessibility, and human-decision safeguards.

Education & Employment

Connect learning, credentials, paid work, apprenticeships, responsible hiring, and long-term career development.

Community Outreach

Support public education, faith and community engagement, communications, events, and respectful dialogue about reform.

Individuals

Share your skills or perspective.

Tell us what area interests you, what experience you bring, and how you would like to contribute. Participation does not require organizational affiliation.
